Pileform reads your client’s PDF of receipts — every page, every language, every VAT regime — and gives you back one clean Excel workbook per supplier. Built in Cyprus for the way accounting actually works.
A small-business accountant gets a 200-page PDF where every page is a different shop, a different language, a different VAT rate. McDonald’s Malaysia next to a Cyprus supermarket next to a UK Uber receipt next to a handwritten taxi slip. Today this is a full day of manual entry. One wrong VAT rate blows up the return.
Pileform does the day in twenty minutes.
Drop a messy PDF. We read every page at 300 DPI, group by supplier, and hand back one Excel per vendor. No sync. No subscription you’ll forget about.
Whatever your client gave you. 200 pages, 11 languages, mixed regimes, mixed currencies. We don’t care how messy it is.
Vision AI at 300 DPI. We extract supplier, VAT number, date, line items, tax rate per line, totals, currency. Page by page.
47 fuel receipts collapse into one tab. Cyprus 19 / 9 / 5 / 0 applied per receipt. When the rate isn’t printed, we infer and yellow-flag.
One Excel per supplier, the original receipt embedded as proof of origin. Zipped into one file. Open it. Post it.
Eight things we built because we kept seeing them get wrong. The local detail is in the defaults; the engine works anywhere.
19% / 9% / 5% / 0% applied per line. We trust the rate printed on the receipt. When it’s missing, we infer and yellow-flag.
Malaysian “incl 6% GST.” Greek “συμπεριλαμβανομένου ΦΠΑ.” Nine more. No more 6% mistakes from treating an inclusive Total as a Net.
Total shows the paid amount. The Adjustment column captures any rounding gap. Because we cannot have a single 0.01 mistake.
One Excel per supplier. The way you actually post. Not one giant CSV you have to slice yourself.
Each row links to the original page image, embedded in the workbook itself. Audit trail lives with the data.
When the rate isn’t printed, we yellow-flag the row for your review. We never silently guess.
Low-confidence pages route automatically to a more capable model. The expensive run only happens on the pages that need it.
Greek, English, Malay, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Turkish, Russian, Arabic. UK / EU VAT, GST, zero-rated — all supported.
Excel out. Use whatever accounting software you want — Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, or a paper ledger. We don’t care.
A real workbook for a real supplier. Tabs at the top — one per vendor. The Adjustment column already there. The original receipt embedded on the right. Yellow-flagged rows are inferred — review before posting.

We’re not trying to replace your accounting software. We’re trying to fix the day before VAT returns.
Pileform is built in Nicosia by a small team that has watched too many accountants spend a Saturday on data entry. We know Cyprus VAT because we live with it. We built the tool we wanted to use — and we listen when our customers tell us we got something wrong.
[TK: founder quote]
Start with a credit pack. Or, if you process several clients regularly, a monthly plan with rollover.
For occasional batch processing. The 9pm-PDF plan.
[TK: credit pack tiers]. Credits never expire.
For practices processing several clients regularly.
[TK: included pages] pages included. Unused pages roll over for one month.
We read it. Confidence is lower, so we yellow-flag the row. You eyeball it before posting. Better than typing it from scratch.
We infer it based on the supplier, the line items, and the regime. Then we yellow-flag the row so you can confirm before posting.
We never silently guess. The Adjustment column always reconciles.
Yes. UK VAT, EU VAT, GST, and zero-rated regimes are all supported. The Cyprus defaults are tuned for Cyprus practitioners; the engine handles any regime the receipt declares.
Not currently. Output is Excel because that’s what most of our customers actually post from. If enough customers ask for direct sync, we’ll build it — tell us at contact@pileform.com.
Servers in Frankfurt (EU). We delete uploads after 30 days by default — configurable to 7 days on the Practice plan. GDPR-compliant. Sub-processors listed in our DPA, available on request.
Accountants ask. We answer specifically.
